• Alpha FS has a full lineup of Swine, Beef, Dairy & Specialty feeds for today’s progressive livestock producer. We are able to manufacture and deliver premixes, supplements, & complete feeds. We are also able to provide extruded soy products and pelleted diets.

• Through our relationship with Land O’Lakes, Swine Practitioners, & major Universities, Alpha FS always strives to improve it’s products to give our customer the best possible performance and return on their investment.

• Alpha FS is a participant in "The Commitment to Quality" program through Land O’Lakes. This is a program that requires that we follow specific manufacturing practices to insure the highest quality feeds possible.

Services & Solutions

85% of Alpha FS’ sales volume is generated from the pork industry. We are very committed to the future and success of the pork producers that we serve. When our company was formed 29 years ago we were in the feed business. The year 2000 is here and we are not only in the feed business, but the food and people business today. Networking and Aligned Production systems are buzzwords that all of us in Livestock hear every day. Alpha FS has taken the following steps to aid our customer base to be competitive in the future.

• Long Term –Single Sources of S.E.W. Pigs

We have written long term agreements with "2"-1200 sow units to purchase and provide our customer base with a consistent supply of high quality S.E.W. Pigs. Pigs are priced on a formula based off of the futures market. Both sow units are using the same genetics. The producers who buy the pigs and the sow unit managers meet quarterly to exchange information and fine tune management practices. We are always interested in talking to producers who would be interested in either producing or buying S.E.W. pigs.

• "Market Access" Marketing Program

"Market Access" is a program which was developed by GROWMARK & IPLA to assure producers that they will receive top dollar for their hogs on a weekly basis. Market Access works with 8-10 different packers to create competitive prices on a weekly basis. This program also allowed our producers to market hogs weekly through the Hog Crisis in late 1998-99.

• Provide Producer Education on Risk Management

Alpha FS has developed relationships with several commodity professionals. These people have been able to help our producers to become better marketers. We have had several sessions, which have been very beneficial to those who participated.

• Facility, Feed & Livestock Financing

Through our relationship with Land O’Lakes we are able to provide several financing packages. Packages can be tailored to fit a producer’s specific needs.

• Performance Monitoring

Alpha FS will provide computerized record keeping services for producers to monitor performance. We are very committed to ensuring that our producers will be able to compete in this industry.
